It has been over 6 months. WOW! Dang it, Life getting in the way of bloggin'!

August is so insanely different since the last time I updated. She talks, poops in the potty (sometimes), picks out her own clothes, says NO! She's super hyper and smart. We're still crazy in love with this little face!

15 months

• Walking.. almost running EVERYWHERE.
• 4 molars coming in.
  
• Signs - eat, more, drink, all done, bath
• Techno baby!
• Still not sleeping all night
  

Almost 3 hours to go 25 miles, nursing screaming babies on the side of the road, peeing in cups... Parenthood!

14 Months!

SUMMER 2010

I realize I will never find the time to post photos of our amazing summer so! Here's is a list of what we were up to so I don't forget (for baby book)..

Summer 2010!

• First night away from home & boat ride to Catalina Island. August did excellent on the boat.
  
• 3 day trips to the beach
• Lots of time swimming & hanging in your kiddy pool with cousin Sienna.
  
• First camping trip. 7 days at Carpinteria Beach! August LOVES the beach & eating sand. She took two amazing naps every single day we were camping! It was SO awesome.
  

Walking

Last Friday I got a video message on my phone while I was at my Friday night yoga class. It was a video sent by my mom of AUGUST WALKING! I got all teary eyed & could not wait for class to be over so I could see my baby walk! She has taken steps before but she is really walking now!

13 months

Tonight will be my last edit (for awhile) with the company I have been with for two years. My friend Alona is taking over my spot. I will be helping on larger events & such.

More time for me, more time for my baby. Less stressing about sleep issues, & getting my baby to sleep at a set time so I can work!

I am really excited.

RUSH RUSH RUSH!

August is napping right now. So I am trying to fit in a blog or two! Tomorrow is her first birthday party! We're celebrating with a jump house, pizza & cupcakes! Should be a blast.

12 Months... a little late!

• ONE YEAR OLD!
  
• Five teeth.. working on the sixth one.
  
• Words - Hi, Bye, Thank you, Uh oh, Beau, Sit, No, Mama, Daddy
• You eat whatever I make for dinner. No more baby mush! You seem to like this better & have been eating a little bit more. You still nurse at least 6 times a day, & a lots during the night.
  
• You spit when you're mad.. So gross & funny.

& this time last year.. I JUST GAVE BIRTH TO A BEAUTIFUL BABY!
Happy birthday August! You make Mama's heart explode with so much love, so much happiness every single day. I LOVE YOU!

Mark & I keep saying "this time last year..."

I was at UCLA in a shower, rocking back & forth on my hands and knees, fighting through back labor.

I remember the days leading up to/being in labor so well. I hope they stay this fresh forever.

Almost Labor Day

I can remember everything I was doing on this day last year.

In fear of being pregnant forever I woke up and went for a jogged. Yes, I jogged in the heat of summer 9 months pregnant! I napped, went for another walk, then walked to & from prenatal yoga with Sunny.. My teacher Nicole made us do lots of squats. I was secretly hoping my water would break in class. Dinner at Olive Garden with Mark, Sunny, Holland, and Ben for my last real meal before labor started. I destroyed baskets of bread sticks and bottles of vinegar. Then walked some more! Went to bed feeling crampy around 10 pm, woke up at 2 am in labor.

I am amazed at how much has happened in one year.
